Nightmare cycle leaves Ukraine fighting alone

The war in Ukraine honestly just feels like this endless nightmare, and I’m exhausted watching regular people’s lives get destroyed while the big shots in Washington, Moscow, and Brussels play their games. Trump could’ve actually helped by dropping some of the weapons restrictions and letting Ukraine get the military support it needs, or at least not meddling with his weird “peace deal” stunts that only made everything messier. Instead, Ukraine’s still stuck fighting with outdated gear, and the US under him just added more confusion to the chaos - all while he tried to act like some genius peace broker when he was anything but. And it’s not just Trump, it’s most of his cabinet and the GOP too. These are the same Republicans who used to talk tough on Russia and cheered for Ukraine when Biden was in charge, but now a bunch of them look like they’re fangirling over Putin. It’s nuts, especially since polls showed most Republican voters actually wanted to help Ukraine not that long ago. Europe keeps saying they’re united in standing up to Russia, but to me it’s mostly just words. Sure, they send some money and weapons, but then they go right back to buying Russian gas, which just keeps the cash flowing to Putin anyway. So while European leaders talk a big game about supporting Ukraine, most of them are scrambling to clean up the mess left by years of trying to play nice with Putin, even as he turned Russia into his own personal North Korea. Now they’re stuck trying to untangle all those gas deals, which is going to take years. Meanwhile, Putin probably finds the whole thing hilarious. And then there’s Canada, quietly ramping up for war behind the scenes with all these defense recruiting ads, while over here in the US, it feels like nobody has learned a single thing from history. In the end, it’s Ukraine that’s left fighting for its actual survival, while the so-called leaders of the free world keep making speeches, trading blame, and playing power games. The rest of us are left stuck asking if we’re somehow the bad guys now, watching all this unfold and knowing it’s regular Ukrainians who pay the price. The whole thing just sucks for the people living through it - and no one in power seems to have any real answers.
