Soaring with a motor and my own legs

Electric and hybrid human-powered flight just blows my mind - we already have electric-powered gliders that let you soar silently with a motor, but imagine if you could actually pedal them too, almost like a huge flying ebike. So instead of just flipping a switch for the battery, you’d have the option to use your own legs to keep cruising through the air, switching back and forth between electric power and human power as you go. Seriously, the idea of pedaling alongside a motor way up in the sky just sounds wild and awesome - I’d be all over something like that.
